Backup the current version of your Nextcloud project in GitLab

This is only possible when the Nextcloud side is active. Make sure that all uploads are finished before backing up to prevent incomplete states.

  1. In fredato, go to the “Projects” tab.
  2. Click on the three dots to the left of the project you want to back up. In the opening menu click “Checkin from Nextcloud”. This will open a dialog. Checkin menu entry
  3. There, select a title for the changes you made and optionally a more detailed change description. Then click on “Check In”. Checkin dialog
  4. The dialog closes, and a small animated notification appears signaling the checkin to be in progress. This might take some time. Wait until it reads “Checkin succeeded”. This means the backup has finished.
